Castle Dual Slide Bouncer Product Review

In 2009, Magic Jump came out with the Dual Bouncer Slide Combo. The original designed was the traditional castle bounce house. This bouncer slide combo pairs a large 15' x 15' bounce house with a small climbing wall up to not one but two inflatable slides.

While a bigger investment then a large bounce house, the dual combo series is quickly becoming a favorite among inflatable rental companies for several reasons. First, it is an extremely versatile. Now you can provide your customers slides with their bounce house in their very own backyard. Second, it is an affordable option for rental companies, which also demands a higher rental rate. This inflatable quickly pays for itself.

The Dual Castle is not just ideal for rental companies. Schools, churches or any organization that is catering to younger bouncers should look at this unit as an excellent option for several reasons.

First, with a 15' x 15' bounce house, this unit has the capacity to hold multiple kids in a safe setting. Second, and probably one of the best assets of this inflatable, having the climbing wall up to the dual slides keeps a constant flow of riders. Unlike traditional bounce houses that have a shared entrance and exit, this bounce house with slide allows kids to play in the bounce area and then climb up to the inflatable slides to exit and the repeat.

Like all Magic Jump inflatables, The Dual Castle Bouncer Slide is manufactured out of 18 ounce commercial grade vinyl. Made in the USA, the quality control of this product, along with ever other inflatable from Magic Jump, is second to none. Each inflatable is hand cut and sewn to precision. The seams of this bouncer slide combo are actually stronger then the vinyl itself because each one has reinforced vinyl both on the top and bottom to make three layers.

The Dual Slide with Bounce House is also available in a Tropical Palm Tree, Sports, Princess and Prince theme.

Choosing Product For Your Inflatable Rental Business

When it comes to buying products for your inflatable rental company or family entertainment center, there are several rules you must follow to be successful. We have been selling commercial inflatables for years and we know the keys to success and they all start with product selection.
Tip #1 - Quality Product
Your entire business plan revolves around your product. Quality of product is essential to success. You only make money if your inflatables are in service. You can not afford to have product in the shop for repairs. Go with reliable brands. There are a lot of good and bad products in the market place and like most things you buy, you get what you pay for.
Tip #2 - Start Conservative
To many times we here from start up customers that they would like to start with 10-12 inflatables. Our typical response is why would you do that? The key to success is cash flowing your inflatable business. Start with 3-5 inflatables and when they are all rented consistently. If inflatables are sitting in your garage they are only costing you money, not making you money.
Tip #3 - Don't Buy What You Like, Buy What Your Customers Like
Like I mentioned above, you don't make any money when your inflatables are not rented. Often customers want to buy a unique bounce house for their start up and this is absolutely wrong. One customer in particular wanted to start their business with one princess themed bounce house. Instantly, that business only caters to 50% of the parties. There is competition in most markets and if you don't buy what the customers want, you won't rent. Our philosophy is to start out with traditional gender neutral products. Starting with bounce houses or bouncer slide combos will put you in the best position to meet your customers needs.
Starting an inflatable rental business can be a profitable business. By following the tips I outlined above will help get you started and on track. By buying quality product you are ensuring your product is in service to get rented. Combining a conservative approach with buying products that appeal to the masses will give you the right mix for starting. When your inflatables are all rented and you are turning customers away, it is time to add product. You will also get feedback from customers for products that they would like that you don't have. This is crucial. By having product that appeals to the masses, you might not have exactly what they want but they will rent it. At the same time you can take notes on what customers are asking for.
Good Luck!

Clubhouse Climber Product Review

The Clubhouse Climber from KidWise Outdoors is a residential grade inflatable bounce house intended for kids up to 12 years old and are under 100 lbs. Capacity is up to 5 kids at one time. This is an large bouncer slide combo. The foot print required for this unit is approximately 16' x 16'. Like all inflatables, it is recommended that you add a minimum of a 3' perimeter for your safety zone.

I am not sure who was more excited to test this inflatable out, the kids or me? I have been writing product reviews on inflatables for quit some time. Therefore, my kids have had a lot of playtime with inflatables. Be prepared, this arrives in one box and weighs approximately 130 lbs. The bouncer itself weighs under 120 lbs. It took me about 15 minutes to unpack and set up. Most of that time was consumed opening the packaging of this bouncer. The inflatate time was right at one minute.

Kids have several options for entering the Clubhouse Climber. On the front right corner of the inflatable is a ramp entry tunnel. This is the easiest way for kids of all ages to enter. No parental assistance needed. If this is were the kids enter they will come in to the bounce area. The bounce floor for the Clubhouse Climber is approximately 6' x 8'. Plenty of room to accommodate 3 bouncers at a time. In the back right corner of the bounce area is a climbing wall that takes the kids to the next level up. Once on this second level, the kids can venture down the slide that is right in front of them, turn to the right and exit through climbing wall, or turn to the left and explore the catwalk to the tower. If the kids choose the catwalk they will find the tower with the third slide. The tower slide is a curved slide that returns to the bounce area.

From a kids perspective, this bouncer slide combo has hours of imagination and adventure. From a parents perspective the Clubhouse Climber get 2 thumbs up!!! Once your kids are in this inflatable there is plenty for them to do. There is a natural counterclockwise flow that keeps the kids moving. This is a definite bonus. Not only does this wear the kids out, it keeps them separated, which ultimately promotes a safer environment. Not to mention,
this inflatable is one of the only ones that I have come across that uses green and tan as the color scheme. This definitely blends in to the natural surroundings a little more then the traditional carnival colors.

This inflatable bouncer gets my recommendation!

Princess Dreamland Bounce House

The Princess Dreamland bounce house from Blast Zone Inflatables is considered a residential or kids bouncer. This means this inflatable is intended for use of kids under the age of 12 that weigh under 100 lbs each. The manufacture has rated this castle for up to three users at once as long as they fit the above guidelines. This bouncer is based off of Blast Zones most popular bounce house, the Magic Castle. The Magic Castle and the Princess Dreamland are identical dimensions and construction. The only difference is the color theme. The Magic Castle is gender neutral while the Princess Dreamland's pink and purple theme is the envy of all princesses.

The outer dimensions of the Princess Dreamland is 8.5' W x 11' L. Essential it is an 8.5' x 8.5' bouncer that has a 3' x 3' slide entry to all easier access to the inside. The inner bounce are is approximately 7' x 7'. This is a nice size area to entertain 3 children at a time. The entire inflatable is enclosed with a safety netting. At the entrance way, the safety netting has a picture of a princess and her castle. Also at the entry way, the safety netting has a floor to ceiling velcro door to allow kids easy entrance and exit from the unit.

Like all Blast Zone inflatables, this bouncer was designed to the highest level of quality and construction. With commercial vinyl as the bounce floor, this unit will outlast the competition. The manufacture also uses a technique called X Weave, which allows this bouncer to be lighter, yet more durable. While many home use kid bouncers come with a 30 day manufacture warranty, this bounce house comes with a 90 day warranty.

Overall, the Princess Dreamland is ideal for the princess in your life. She will enjoy bouncing and make believe for hours at a time.

Blast Zone Release The Mega Series Line of Inflatables

Blast Zone, a leading manufacture of home use inflatables released a new series of inflatables for us to review today.  Blast Zone is calling there new line the Mega Inflatables.  The theory behind the Mega line is to take proven designs and concepts and make them bigger and better with larger capacities and more features.  At first glance, they hit a home run.  The first two inflatables in the Mega line that were released were the Mega Croc 13 in 1 Inflatable Water Park and the Shark Park Mega Play Park.  Both of these units are based on successful residential water slides that Blast Zone has had for three plus years.  This mega versions of the original designs are truly that.

The Mega Croc 13 in 1 Inflatable Water Park evolved from one of Blast Zones most popular water slides, the Crocodile Isle.  The Crocodile Isle resemble a crocodile with a slide going down the head and a slide going down the slide with a pool area in front for the kids to play.  Calling the Mega Croc "Mega" is an understatement.  This is the Taj Mahal of residential water parks.  The Mega Croc, like the Crocodile Isle, is based on a crocodile in which kids can slide down the head and the tail.  The Mega Croc, however adds a third slide that runs down the leg of the crocodile.  Both the head and tail slides enter in to splash pools for extended sliding.  Kids climb up the backside of the crocodile.  Once on top of the crocodiles back, kids can choose which of the three slides they would like to go down.  Underneath the head and tail slides are tunnels that enter into two separate splash pools.  This unit has a total of three pool area.  If you are look for the ultimate water park, look no further.

The Shark Park Mega Play Park evolved from the Great White Wild Inflatable Slide.  The Great White is a double lane straight slide that is designed to have the kids slide out of the sharks mouth.  The Shark Park takes this concept and makes the slide one aspect of this unit.  This inflatable has it all.  Kids climb up the sharks back, into the head and slide through the mouth down the slide into a splash pool area that can hold up to four kids.  The splash pool area is approximately 10' x 8'.  On either side of the splash pool are water sprayers to keep the pool area cool for those hot summer days.  Next to the slide and pool area is a bounce house with a bounce area of approximately 7' x 6'.  The bounce house can be entered either through the velcro opening of the safety net or through the tunnel that runs underneath the shark slide.  Either entrance allows for a safe entry way.  The bounce house can double as ball pit area as well.  This inflatable has something for everyone.

Blast Zones existing inflatable line stood above the competition for quality and design.  While it is obvious that Blast Zone improved the overall design with the Mega line of inflatables with all of the features, they also added additional commercial material to make these units even more durable.  At the time of this publication, Blast Zone had not determined there warranty time period for the Mega inflatables, but is very likely it will be longer then the industry high 90 days they currently offer.

In summary, I am very impressed with the last inflatables to come from Blast Zone and am eager to see future Mega inflatables.
